Daftar Nominasi Oscar 2020

Oscar menjadi salah satu ajang tahunan yang kerap dinantikan oleh para sineas sekaligus penikmat film. Nominasi Oscar 2020 pun baru diumumkan pada Senin, 13 Januari 2020.

Nominasi tersebut diumumkan oleh pihak Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science (AMPAS) selaku penyelenggara Academy Awards alias Oscar2020

Kali ini, sederet film bergengsi kembali bersaing ketat untuk memperoleh piala Best Picture. Joker menjadi film yang masuk dalam nominasi terbanyak, yakni 11 kategori.

Menyusul di belakang Joker, ada film-film bergengsi lain seperti The Irishman, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, serta 1917 yang sama-sama masuk dalam 10 nominasi. Mereka akan bersaing ketat dalam kategori Best Picture.

Selain itu, film-film lain yang tak mau ketinggalan berjaya dalam daftar nominasi ini adalah Marriage Story, Jojo Rabbit, hingga Little Women yang meraih enam nominasi.

Oscar tahun ini juga memberikan kejutan lewat film asal Korea Selatan, Parasite, yang secara mengagetkan masuk dalam enam nominasi. Bahkan film arahan sutradara Bong Joon Ho ini juga masuk dalam kategori Best Picture serta Best Director. Tentunya ini menjadi sepak terjang menakjubkan bagi perfilman Korea Selatan sekaligus membawa Parasite memecahkan rekor.

Malam puncak ajang Academy Awards atau Oscar ke-92 sendiri rencananya akan digelar pada 10 Februari mendatang. Acara ini akan disiarkan secara langsung di saluran NBC dan kembali digelar tanpa pemandu acara seperti tahun sebelumnya.
