Daftar Nominasi Grammy Awards 2024
Penyanyi dan penulis lagu, Taylor Swift dipastikan tidak akan tampil di Grammy Awards. Hal ini terjadi karena Taylor Swift akan melanjutkan The Eras Tour, konser dunianya di Tokyo, Jepang, Rabu, 7 Februari 2024. Ia selanjutnya tur dunianya ke negara lain. Tidak akan ada cukup waktu baginya untuk tampil di panggung Grammy Awards 2024.
Tahun ini, Grammy Awards digelar di Crypto.com Arena di Los Angeles, Minggu 4 Februari malam waktu setempat, atau Senin, 5 Februari 2024 pagi waktu Indonesia barat. Trevor Noah untuk keempat kalinya jadi pembawa acara Grammy Awards 2024.
Dalam ajang Grammy Awards ke-66 tahun ini, Taylor Swift mendapat nominasi untuk record of the year, album of the year, song of the year, best pop vocal album, best pop solo performance, dan best pop duo atau group performance. Secara keseluruhan, Taylor telah masuk nominasi Grammy sebanyak 52 kali.
Di sisi lain, SZA mendominasi dengan sembilan nominasi untuk albumnya SOS. Pelantun lagu Kill Bill ini akan bergabung dengan deretan penampil lainnya di panggung Grammy Awards, antara lain Billie Eilish, Billy Joel, Dua Lipa, Luke Combs, Burna Boy, Olivia Rodrigo, U2, dan lainnya.
Dilanjut Victoria Monét, mixing engineer Serban Ghenea, dan Phoebe Bridgers yang mendapatkan tujuh nominasi. Barbie: The Soundtrack menyabet 12 nominasi, termasuk empat dari lima slot dalam kategori lagu yang ditulis untuk media visual.
Penilaian Berdasarkan Pemungutan Suara
Proses pemungutan suara Grammy Awards dimulai dengan anggota dan perusahaan rekaman mengirimkan entri, yang kemudian disaring untuk kelayakan dan penempatan kategori.
Periode Akses Online Entry Process (OEP) berlangsung pada 17 Juli sampai 31 Agustus 2023. Pemungutan suara putaran pertama dilaksanakan pada 11-20 Oktober 2023.
Pemungutan suara putaran final berlangsung pada 14 Desember 2023 sampai 4 Januari 2024. Para pemenangnya diumumkan 4 Februari waktu Amerika, atau Senin 5 Februari waktu Indonesia barat.
