BTS Raih 2 Trofi, Ini Daftar Pemenang Billboard Music Awards 2019
Bangtan Boys atau BTS kembali mencatatkan prestasi gemilang di kancah musik internasional. Anak asuh Big Hit Entertainment ini berjaya di ajang Billboard Music Awards 2019. Bertempat di MGM Garden Arena, Las Vegas, acara dihelat pada Rabu 1 Mei 2019 malam, waktu setempat atau Kamis 2 Mei 2019 pagi WIB.
Kelly Clarkcon dipercaya menjadi host. Cardi B datang dengan status pemegang nominasi terbanyak. Ibu satu anak ini dinominasikan di 18 kategori.
Sayangnya, Cardi B bukanlah penyanyi yang memborong trofi. Penyanyi yang dinobatkan sebagai pemenang terbanyak Billboard Music Awards 2019 adalah Drake. Ia membawa pulang 12 trofi. Total, Drake sudah mengoleksi 27 piala Billboard Music Awards.
Sementara itu, BTS menjadi satu-satunya boygorup asal Korea Selatan yang berjaya di Billboard Music Awards 2019.
BTS dinobatkan sebagai yang terbaik untuk kategori Top Duo/Group. Tak tanggung-tanggung, BTS mengalahkan nama-nama besar dalam kemenangannya kali ini. Grup pelantun Boy with Luv itu menaklukkan Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons, Panic! At The Disco, serta Dan + Shay.
Grup berisi tujuh member ini juga berhasil mempertahankan trofi Top Social Artist tiga tahun berturut-turut. (yas)
