BLACKPINK Rilis The Girls Soundtrack The Game

Usai mengeluarkan album BORN PINK, girl group BLACKPINK meluncurkan lagu baru berjudul The Girls. Single ini merupakan original soundtrack dari BLACKPINK THE GAME.

Perilisan lagu dan video musik The Girls kerap ditunda yang sebelumnya dijadwalkan akan rilis pada 19 Mei lalu. Kini, YG Entertainment secara resmi telah merilis lagu bergenre R&B yang sudah ditunggu-tunggu oleh penggemar global.

Sebelum rilis di YouTube, music video tersebut sudah lebih dulu rilis di mobile game yang bisa di-download melalui Google Play Store maupun AppStore.

Lagu ini adalah kerja sama antara YG Entertainment, agensi yang menaungi BLACKPINK bersama TakeOne Company yang mengembangkan BLACKPINK The Game. Lagu The Girls diproduksi oleh penyanyi OneRepublic, Ryan Tedder dan Danny Chung.

Penampilan BLACKPINK dalam video musik The Girls ini digambarkan sebagai avatar 3D sesuai dalam game-nya. Avatar yang menggambarkan masing-masing member BLACKPINK tersebut juga selalu berganti latar belakang sesuai tema game.

Sebelum rilisnya video musik The Girls, aplikasi BLACKPINK The Game sedang mengalami pemeliharaan. Sebagai gantinya, pihak penyedia aplikasi memberikan kompensasi pemeliharaan berupa 500 Stardust atau 200 World Tickets.
